President’s message

Hello to all our members. Summer is here and we had our first heat wave at the Jersey Shore. I am sure there will be more to remember before the summer season is over. Try to stay cool and don't forget to use your sunscreen when you are outside.

I want to thank everyone who attended the Bay Day outreach. The weather was great with just enough bay breezes to keep the green heads off of you. We had a lot of requests for sunset cruise information thanks to our super salesman Vice President, Dusty Pierce. Hopefully we will get new members as we take everyone out to see the lights and give their history. If you haven't signed up yet, be sure to do so soon; it's the best deal around at only $30 per person for a four hour boat ride to view the lights of the Delaware Bay.

We have more outreaches coming up so check the dates on our calendar. We hope to see you at the picnic on July 26. Just a reminder; if you are coming to our picnic and would like to contribute some picnic food, please call Darlene (609) 884-1329. Come out and help support your DBLHKFA organization..

Take care, and remember "keep the lights shining".

         Angelo S. Rigazio, Jr.  President
